Shaun Lee
Director

With over 20 years of experience in accounting, Shaun has a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to any customer. His experience includes training within the public sector, migrating to the manufacturing sector where he obtained the position of Finance Director. Now he runs his own successful business, so he has seen business at various levels and can provide useful insight and advice on top of a pure accounting input.

A qualified accountant, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, he brings to the firm a vision and passion for helping business and developing an outstanding accountancy service. Shaun was responsible for Establishing Smarter Accounting in early 2006.

As well as his role as Director and business owner / manager, Shaun has gained an exceptional reputation within the private sector where he provides finance consultancy to many Public Bodies in the UK.


Steve Taylor

Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1975, Steve has provided accountancy and taxation advice to small and medium sized businesses for over 30 years.

He is a great listener, easy to talk to and has seen most challenges that effect SME’s so without saying he knows all the answers, it’s worth a chat!

Steve is keen to talk to business owners looking for a cost effective yet top quality service from their accountant.

When away from the office , Steve enjoys a round of golf, socialising with Jean, his partner and listening to music.
