January is Over! Hooray! 1 February 2023

Just a quick note from the Team at Smarter Accounting to say we have finally finished January and successfully achieved the Self-Assessment deadline on behalf of you, our clients. It has been a busy tax return season and in January alone we filed over 400 returns. For a number of reasons, it’s been a tough one and one the Team can feel proud of.

All tax returns that we received information for were dealt with. There were several late ones this year!

There were a few that did not get information to us. If this is you or you have a tax return still to file, let us know and we can get things sorted for you. Yes, this will entail a fine for being late, but getting it done as soon as you can will minimise the fine.

Finally, a thank you to the Team for their hard effort during the busiest tax return season in many years. Go team!
